Denim Insulation
Denim insulation has been gaining popularity here for quite some time now, and for good reason. There are many reasons to choose recycled denim insulation, and here are just a few:
- It keeps your home quieter (about 30% higher acoustical rating than typical insulation)
- It’s eco-friendly, being made of about 85% recycled denim material, such as old clothes.
- It also has low/no VOC’s and is not a skin irritant like fiberglass is.
The one big downside though is the price. It costs about twice as much as traditional insulation and can give you quite the sticker shock.
